Here is an example of how I used Reality Transurfing to experience a great shift in my business and the way I viewed the world.
Coming Up With My Goals
I wanted to come up with a goal that is a little vague in a sense so that I can find more opportunities. Instead of having a goal of wanting $10,000 a month from my freelance business I focused on “I want to have people contacting me everyday wanting to work with me”.
We get to choose what we want – not how we get it. This leaves the door open for opportunities instead of being more specific and wanting X amount of web design clients.
Visualizing What I Want To Experience
I would visualize myself waking up in the morning, grabbing a coffee then sitting down at my computer to check my emails. When I open my emails I see a bunch of new messages from potential clients wanting to work with me.
Simple and hopefully effective.
A very important part of this is to really see this visualization through your own eyes and feeling as though you are there. This might take some transurfing practice and a good way to do this would be write down in extreme detail what you want to experience.
I’m still not really sure how I feel about what happened next as it’s kind of confusing when things start happening.
My Manifestation Begins to Take Hold
A potential client I had spoken to before but we decided not to work together randomly contacted me and said he realizes I am much better suited to the task than the other people he was looking at.
I ended up quoting him double what I initial thought I should because he wasn’t really the type of client I wanted to work with and I normally undercharge myself but not this time.
After sending the quote, I assumed there was no way he would say yes because the issue before was about money and now I quoted him much more than he expected so I forgot about it and moved on with my day.
The next afternoon I get an email from him agreeing to go ahead. I was really taken aback as I didn’t really want the job but since he agreed to my price I’m also really happy and will make sure I deliver an amazing end result for him.
I thought about my goal and had a little chuckle to myself and decided that it was obviously just a coincidence. I didn’t manifest this situation with my thoughts, that’s kinda crazy…right?
Fast Forward 3-4 Days
Anyway I get back to work for a few days and I receive another email from a person I used to work with saying that have just recommended their friend to hire me and I’ll receive an email shortly.
Sure enough I receive that email the next day and land a new, small client.
I think about my goal and laugh – definitely a coincidence!
Even though I am putting these situations down to coincidence I am still making sure to focus and visualize my goal as though I am living in that reality.
Keep in mind I very rarely get new people enquiring for my services (like 1 or 2 per year) and almost always work with regular clients or go out and make the sales myself via cold calling or sending emails etc.
A Real Turning Point For Me
All of a sudden one of my clients who runs a business mentoring program decided to promote me at the end of her course for anyone needing a website. She would actually really push them to sign up with me as she thought it was imperative they have a website and I was the Web Developer she knew and trusted so it made sense. She sent me 4 potential clients over the span of about 12 days. I ended up selling 3 out of 4, they were smallish jobs but still a source of income + some recurring revenue which is great.
Again I thought about my goal and really started to become unsure of what is happening right now. I wasn’t seeking any of these people and they were all coming to me or being sent to me by someone else. Can this be coincidence? How many clients do I need before I believe in this 100%?
I’m not fully convinced this isn’t just coincidence but i’ll keep plowing through.
About 2 weeks go by with nothing out of the blue happening, I am just focused on getting these jobs done as I am quite busy with them all right now.
This Seems Too Good To Be True
One of my clients often sends me small little jobs to fix things for his clients throughout the year but this time he came to me saying he has a client in need of a very large website, I quoted him quite a large number (that made me feel uncomfortable as I don’t usually get big jobs).
By now you might be thinking.. yeah right, as if this randomly happens. So was I – don’t worry that sale didn’t end up going ahead, I am not the manifestation wizard I had hoped.
However telling me that this sale wasn’t going to happen he mentioned that his daughter needs a website for her small eCommerce business. We discussed it and sold that over the phone right then and there, it wasn’t a big job but still covers a few weeks of expenses and shouldn’t take too long to do.
So by now we are about 2 months in and I have sold 5 or 6 websites that came out of seemingly random places in a way that can only be explained as “plausible but unlikely”.
As I don’t do any marketing or advertising it would be completely absurd to randomly get a bunch of enquiries from people I have no previous business relationship with. It was also pretty absurd for all these things to happen one after another but it can be explained as plausible, lucky or coincidence.
My Thoughts On How This Really Happened
Over the next couple of months I had 2 more of my previous clients come to me wanting large website upgrades – what the hell is going on lol? Why did all of these people suddenly decide to do upgrades or recommend my services.
The only thing that changed was what I was focusing on.
My realization has been that it doesn’t matter whether or not this is how the world actually works. As by believing in it my thoughts, beliefs and actions change which results in me getting the results I was seeking.
This is some sort of inception on your brain.
